Steffi Graf

Graf won 22 major singles championships and the calendar-year Golden Slam: all four majors plus Olympic singles gold. Her achievements stand independently of her marriage to Andre Agassi. She entered the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004 after retiring from the tour in 1999.

Las Vegas became the family’s home. Her work beyond competition includes Children for Tomorrow, which she founded in 1998 to help children affected by war and other trauma. Her profile connects the city to an international sporting career through long-term residence and philanthropy, rather than through a local playing team.
