The venue story
Opened April 6, 2016, T-Mobile Arena sits behind the Strip beside Toshiba Plaza. Its most sustained sporting identity is Golden Knights hockey, but the seating bowl also converts for boxing, UFC, basketball and bull riding.
The venue’s fact sheet lists AEG and MGM Resorts as owners and MGM Resorts as operator. T-Mobile is the naming sponsor. Its published capacities demonstrate why a single number is misleading: the available floor and seating arrangements differ substantially between ice hockey and a centrally placed ring.
Sports and events
Golden Knights hockey; PWHL; boxing, UFC, basketball and bull riding.
