The venue story
Las Vegas Ballpark opened on April 9, 2019, giving the renamed Aviators a new home after the franchise’s Cashman Field years. It is in Downtown Summerlin, near the Golden Knights’ City National Arena practice facility.
The ballpark mixes conventional seating with suites, decks, an outfield berm and a pool. Its naming agreement with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority promotes the destination itself. This is the existing minor-league venue, distinct from the Athletics’ separate Strip ballpark project.
