Anthony began college at Portland before transferring to UNLV. The Las Vegas native became the point guard alongside Larry Johnson and Stacey Augmon on the 1990 championship team. In his final season he averaged 8.9 assists, an indication of the responsibility he carried in the Rebels’ offense.
The Knicks selected him twelfth in the 1991 NBA draft. He later played for Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Milwaukee and Chicago, and moved into national television analysis. His regional Hall of Fame biography also records a foundation established in 1993 to support scholarships at Las Vegas high schools.
